The 201 Intensive course is amazing!! This is definitely a more advanced course that has a lot of information. It has been nearly a month since I’ve completed the course and am still processing some of the lessons that were taught in the course. There were several eye-opening “Ah-ha!”; moments in the class. Be prepared to have many of your preconceived notions challenged and you’ll grow because of it. I was very thankful to have an amazing partner for the class. Be sure the person you are tying with is someone you can trust and in turn can trust you back. Good communications and chemistry makes the class significantly better.
Response from All Tied Up San Diego
Thank you Chris! It was awesome watching you learn.
I was very impressed with the 201 course. Dan is an amazing teacher, preceptor, and friend . He is always willing to share his personal as well as technical aspects to the trainings.
The 201 course helped my partner and I to think about the intentions with my tying.
I feel that this course, as well as other courses, will help to improve my overall skills and continued learning in the world of shibari.
Response from All Tied Up San Diego
Thank you Viv! It was fun watching the transformation happening between you and your partner. You both make a great tying pair! Looking forward to seeing you two start suspending!
The 201 course at ATU San Diego was an amazing opportunity to hone my shibari skills from 101 and become more fluid and creative with rope. 201 boosted my confidence level and challenged me to start thinking about other things besides how neat and aesthetic my lines are. I still want the rope to look good, but more importantly, I want the rope to *feel* good on my partner. This course really prioritized that connection, and began to explore how to evoke (and define/communicate) different types of emotions from my partner. From rope management to physiology, a wealth of practical and applicable information beginning to end. Amazing class for couples to communicate desires more clearly and engage in being consciously present together.
Hi there!
Are you ready for an amazing rope journey?
Are you ready to learn how to master those basic skills and become an Intermediate Ropester?
Taking the skills you have learned and developing them into reliable, repeatable, and effective parts of more complex applications?
Learn real-life and kinky skills that matter. So that, you can gain confidence and feel the transformation happening as you grasp the automatic dexterity required to apply multi-step, deeply-intentional ties?
This is a unique opportunity.
This course will include six live, in-person class sessions to discuss each module's content.
Additionally, you will have two additional in-person practice time each month with the instructor and teaching assistants.
The additional online course platform will provide you with additional pre-recorded videos of the hard-skills and tie applications for that module. These videos are available in the palm of your hand, allowing you to go through the modules to learn and practice on your own time, away from class.
The beauty of this system is that you get the in-person time with your cohort and instructor, along with the videos that you can watch over and over again. The single biggest complaint from our students taking in-person only classes was not having a video of the ties to study after class. That issue has been solved and our students tell us they love the new videos.
Plus, you will have direct interaction with the instructor and receive feedback on your work either in-person or if you choose to submit videos for between class feedback.
No other course does this, except our 101 course.
Backed by our 100% money-back guarantee*. We take all of the risk for you. Click here to read.
Each module will have an in-person class taught by the instructors to help you grasp the key elements. There are six modules in the course, plus two labs per month.

If you have not looked already, read in the course reviews, this was a very helpful part of the learning process.
When you finish this course you will be at the intermediate stage of your Rope Confidence Journey.
There will be six in-person classes with the instructors to cover important aspects of the course. PLUS three in-person practice sessions where you and your cohort will meet with the instructors and teaching assistants.
Your negotiation is going to change as you progress. Things you may not have considered before will now become more important. You will participate in conversations to increase transparency.
Yes, there will be homework and there will be things you need to show you have worked on and reached a level of proficiency. Don't worry, the ties are not that complicated (you can do it)!
So you think you know the single column? Well, there is more to learn. And when you are done, you will know the rest of the story about rope direction.
The 201 level of "CNC" considers where you are as you progress down your rope road. This is the heart of our instruction and changes as you progress in your coursework.
You have learned how to create connection. Now let's take it deeper and even more intimate with your partner using rope.
It isn't enough to know how, you need to why, when, and most importantly do it without thinking about it.
We will take the basics you have learned and create new opportunities that will give you new ideas.
You will start to consider the intention of the tie, not just what you will do, but what emotion you want to draw from your partner. Are you a Sensualist? Sadist? Masochist, Hedonist, Objectionist? Or maybe a bit of each?
New hitches and frictions to give you even more control over you tension and direction of the rope. You will need these for some of the more iconic ties.
All advanced ties have one thing in common. They are all made up of smaller elements. You will start to understand how to put elements together to tie the whole body and create something beautiful.
Understanding physiology is one of the five key areas of rope bondage. You and your partner will take a deep-dive into understanding the bottoms physiology and anatomy to help you safely start adding arms and more into the ties.
This course isn't about tying manequinns. This is about you connecting with your partner and creating some amazing intimacy and sexiness along the way!
There is a lot in this course that will help you learn and grow.
You will learn how to make sure the rope is communicating what you want it to communicate.
You will see other folx that are just a bit further in their journey bring their thoughts and experience to the screen.
Making rope move and hold the way you need it to will take practice, but we will get our started!
We bring a variation to the screen showing you how rope is applied to different genders and body types.
You will see how to take the foundational elements you have learned and tie the whole body.
These are only a few of the videos we have planned to share with you!
Participants in this course will have a private Slack channel just for these students to discuss the assignments and share images. Plus access to the instructor!
Get the templates I use for negotiation and vetting! These will give you so much confidence and protect you and your partner from key mistakes!
Our experience platform helps you see your progress and know that you are transforming as you go through the course!
This is your chance to take that next step in your rope journey with qualified professionals who will be sharing their time and experience with you.

The instructors and staff at ATU are top notch. They were very attentive to answering questions anyone had, and making sure everyone was making progress regardless of what level they were at. The atmosphere was very friendly, non-intimidating, and comfortable. I highly recommend All Tied Up for anyone interested in beginning or continuing their rope journey regardless of their skill level. "

All Tied Up provides a great environment to learn, share and grow no matter what your level of skill. I especially appreciate the emphasis on safety and negotiation and the variety of events - socials, classes or just a place to tie or be tied. The group is made up of all skill and experience levels and everyone is very welcoming. They provide a supportive environment where everyone shares information and experiences. I always learn something new. I can't recommend this group highly enough. They have made my rope journey amazing! "

Sorry, you must have a partner to participate in this course. This is not a self-tying course, it is about creating intimate connections with your partner using consent, negotiation, and communication as a basis.
You've read the reviews, there are more I can share.
You know you want to take gain confidence doing rope.
And you know that there is still a lot that you do not know.
Well, we want to help you learn and grow. In our opinion the only way that can happen effectively is not by showing you a bunch of videos, but by being available and requiring you to show us your work.
That means we are here to support you. You will have access to the instructor and the team.
You can ask questions and receive support.
You don't have to wonder if you are doing it right.
Don't be deceived into thinking simply watching a video is going to teach you, that isn't how this works.
You and your partner's safety is too much to risk on getting it wrong.
And we promise you that after you complete this course, you will know you have gained some serious rope skills!

This course requires a partner. The ties and metholdogies taught will focus on increasing connection and intimacy between two people.
You will have access to the videos for the lifetime of the course, plus the lifetime of the platform. Meaning that as long as I can afford to keep the online content in this platfrom you will have access. So, hopefully that is for years to come.
What you do not have access to are the in-person classes and the LAB Practice sessions, which are included with this course. Those will end at the conclusion of the course.
What will the homework be like?
It will vary from lesson to lesson. There will be requirements for you to demonstrate understanding of the materials presented through video and written forms.
There will be some reading required and submission of your interpretation of the writing.
There will be some group discussion over Slack.
There will definitely be time for you to discuss rope with your partner.
You will need a minimum of five 30' and two 15' hanks for rope and safety shears. More rope is great. We expect you to use either jute or hemp rope for this course. Nylon rope is great rope, but it is not acceptable for the ties being done in this course. If you need to tie with a non-natural fiber rope, please inform me ahead of the class.
Additionally, you will need to have a webcam, and space to work on the ties for each lesson. You will be submitting your work via video, written form, and in-person. So, please plan accordingly.
The private Slack workspace channel for this co-hort will be the place to submit any questions and to get the answers that you seek. Sharing your questions with the group will help everyone learn and for us to gain valuable feedback about the materials.
